How did Superman beat the Hulk?

I just watched the new Hulk vs Wolverine/Hulk vs Thor cartoon movies and boy did the Hulk ever lay a beat down on them. I was left wondering who could beat the Hulk when i remembered the crossover comic of Superman Vs the Hulk. I know Superman ended up winning, but how did he do it?How did Superman beat the Hulk?He threw him into the sun.How did Superman beat the Hulk?
Whenever Marvel and DC have a crossover, DC refuses to let their characters lose. That's why Batman beat Captain America, and why Superman beat the Hulk. The sad thing is, Superman is extremely lame. He's too powerful to enjoy as a character.



Supe has pushed planets, which shows his strength. Hulk has broken planets and held them together. That wasn't as his strongest either. We've never seen his true strength. Superman has a weakness, it's kryptonite (and magic), plus he needs the Earth's yellow sun to give him his power. Hulk is pwerful no matter where he is, and he has no weakness. He's weak when he's Banner, but as soon as he's threatend at all, he becomes Hulk and Smashes everything in his path.How did Superman beat the Hulk?If I can recall back from 1996 this crossover event occured when they decided to release cards including both marvel and dc characters called Marvel vs DC, duh? However, the packs included a ballot which asked who would win a battle between Wolverine vs Lobo and others.The winner was decided on the total number of votes per character.



Superman won by throwing Hulk in space or something and pummeling him back down to earth. It was pretty lame. Nuff' said.How did Superman beat the Hulk?
