I dont think it's too realistic, Batman was a regular man, and Superman was an alien of sorts. How realistic is flying like superman?about as realistic as me flying a pig to the moon this afternoon! How realistic is flying like superman?
The only thing realistic about it is that he streamlines his body to move faster. Overall, flying in the way he is doing it is simply impossible.
When an aeroplane flies, it works due to the curved shape of its wing; because the wing is curved like an arch, it takes less time for air particles to pass over the wing than underneath it, so there is more air pressure below the wing than above, allowing the plane to lift off the ground. Superman doesn't even have wings. How realistic is flying like superman?Super-man is not an aerofoil.
Air over the top and bottom of an aerofoil travel at the same speed, yet the air over the top travels further, creating lower pressure. The higher pressure from beneath the wing pushes it upwards, creating lift.
Super-mans body does not represent this.
Super-man cannot fly.
