What's going on with the Superman movies?

i heard when Superman returns there were going to be follow ups like in the Batman series. However I don't seem to be the only one who completely disliked Superman Returns and heard they aren't going to make the other ones? Is this correct (which I hope it is); if so is anyone planning on trying to start over with say Superman Begins type story and continue from that?What's going on with the Superman movies?The original plan when they made Superman Returns was to do sequels, but since Brian Singer screwed it up so much that plan was scrapped.



The plan now is to reboot the series starting over similar to what Nolan did with Batman Begins...
