For anyone who has been on Superman Ride of Steel- I'm not scared to ride it, but how intense or nauseating is it? In other words is it really jerky or bumpy?How is Superman Ride of Steel?Six Flags America (Washington DC area) and Six Flags New England both have rides named Superman:Ride of Steel. Both were produced by the same manufacturer, but that is where the similarities end.
While both are very smooth, SFNE's is much more intense. There are no inversions, so you won't feel nauseated or anything like that, unless you are prone to motion sickness.
The New England version also has a mist filled tunnel, which leads to two camelbacks (lots of airtime!) before hitting the brake run.
If you like airtime (feeling like you are coming out of your seat), this ride(SFNE) is for you!How is Superman Ride of Steel?its the best ride ever.How is Superman Ride of Steel?It's a VERY smooth ride. Not jerky or bumpy at all. The humpback drops will make you lift from your sit just a bit, but you're very secure in the seet with the restrain. But yes, a very smooth coaster.
