They are both heroes invented by ones who wished they were real. In my opinion the only difference is that millions of people believe that Jesus actually existed.

Superman is a made up caractor who is not real.



Jesus is a real person who lived on earth



Superman can not do anything because he is not real.



Jesus did many things while on earth



Superman did not die for your sins,



Jesus did.



We know that superman is fake because he lives in a comic book.



We know that Jesus is God because He proved Himself many times, and the Bible, which has been proven correct many times, has told us so.



I could go on and on, but I doubt you would believe it.
It's one thing not to believe,but it is not fair to insult people that do believe and you don't even know. Didn't your mother teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say then say nothing at all ?
Jesus just wasn't that sexy in those blue tights.
There is a similarity, however Superman was not human so he couldn't save man from the one thing he needed salvation from.



He met mans needs physically but couldn't do the spiritual bit, because he could never be a Man.



Jesus Christ is real. He because Man and God at the same time to meet the needs of our salvation.

Jesus is a historical character who died for our sins as well as save the world and Superman is just a fictional character who is still trying save the world unless you put krypton in front of him or he meets darkseid and even then Superman still cant die. Anyways, I am not a devoted christian, but I have never seen Jesus in comic book, that would be insulting to those who take Jesus very seriously and believe in him. Always keep others in mind. Damn. Seriously there is no comparison. That is like comparing Michael Jordan to a fictional character like daffy duck. Respect goes a long way.
First of all, there's so many differences between these two random guys that it's sickening to list all of them.



Just to name a few:



-Jesus is a religious figure whereas Superman is a comic idol.



-When it comes to Christianity, Jesus, and ALWAYS Jesus, will come first, not Superman.



-Jesus is more well-known on the planet than Super Man.



-You can actually see Superman, not the Lord's Son himself. Not that my Catholic faith is complaining though



-Jesus doesn't need to hide to show his special powers



And finally, no. Jesus is not a comic book character. I'm actually being helpful here unlike some certain other people. *shifts eyes*
I think a better question would be who would win in a fight. Superman can fly, but Jesus can walk on water. Tough one.
Jesus (aka Yeshua) was/is a historical character and is written about in "non-Christian" historical literature of the time.



Superman (aka Clark Kent) was/is a fictional character and is read mainly by pre-pubescent american boys.



Oh... and by-the-way, there is more historical evidence that Jesus existed than Julius Caesar existed - fact.
Superman sacrificed himself to the whole world doesn't have to live life completely sin free.

And Jesus can fly.
