Is the Superman/Batman series in the same universe as everything else in the main universe in DC?

and in the Superman/Batman series, is batman still bruce wayne or is it dick grayson? Is the Superman/Batman series in the same universe as everything else in the main universe in DC?I read the comic and I have found that sometimes events in Superman/Batman are referenced in the other comics. And that sometimes events in the DC world are referenced in Superman/Batman.

As of the last issue (#64 - released last week) Bruce Wayne is still the Batman in the Superman/Batman comic.

From the cross references, I tend to interpret Superman/Batman as being within continuity but out of time. Superman/Batman tells stories as arcs, so they run for several months. Which means they run through the larger events in DC which is why it gets confusing. I try and think of them being within the same universe but telling stories that happened within say the last year.Is the Superman/Batman series in the same universe as everything else in the main universe in DC?try wikipediaIs the Superman/Batman series in the same universe as everything else in the main universe in DC?Here's the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman/Ba鈥?/a>

Apparently like "Legends of the Dark Knight" it's continuity is give-or-take.
