Who would win in a fight: Superman or Wolverine?

If you think about it, you would actually know that this would be a really good fight, with Wolverine's regeneration and adamantium skeleton, and Superman's virtual invincibility. Me and some friends had a huge discussion on who would win (most of us say wolverine) but there'es so many different scenarios, and I just want some outside opinions.Who would win in a fight: Superman or Wolverine?How are there many different scenarios? Superman wins no matter what.



Wolverine would find out how indestructible adamantium was when those claws break against Superman's chest.



There is a What if Comic out there that shows Stryfe putting Wolverine on the moon. Without air, Wolverine dies, doesn't matter if he has healing power with no oxygen.



Superman just has to fly his midget butt to the moon and set him down. Wolverine dead!

How does Wolverine beat Superman? I'd like you to explain to me your scenarios of how he can possibly accomplish victory. In straight combat, standard powers Wolverine can't do anything accept be a pest perhaps. Adamantium will NOT pierce Superman's flesh as Wolverine can not produce the force required to do so. It would take someone with strength like that of Superman's. I can't remember exactly but and indestructible metal (can't recall the name) in the DC universe can't pierce his skin.



One punch from Superman should knock Wolverine the heck out in truth. Or knock him to another state. How about Superman throws him into the ocean? Cold breath can be used to freeze Wolverine in place, incapacitating him.



Other ways Superman could win but will not do because of his character is:



- Throw him into the sun

- Use heat vision to burn all Wolverine's flesh off

- Rip the skeleton from the flesh

- Throw him into space

- Suffocate him



The only way Wolverine can possibly win is if his claws are encrusted with kryptonite. That would allow him to stab Superman. Another is if they fight under a red sun, that means Superman has nothing more than a human stats physically.
