My friends and I were discussing this idea last night. For the most part we agree that a single bullet would bounce off of him, seeing as exposure would be pretty minor. But what if a fully automatic weapon were unloading said rounds into him. Would prolonged minor exposure's weaken him, eventually allowing them to penetrate his flesh and possibly wound him?
Thoughts, go!If Superman were shot with a bullet containing Kryptonite, what would happen?Hmm. Good question. I don't think it would work though. Even if an automatic fired enough kryptonite bullets to weaken him enough to be shot, by the time it did so, he'd already have recovered from the initial shots. As you know, he's a quick healer.
A much better idea would be to get someone to enchant a bullet to be able to shoot anyone. This would work, since he has no special defenses against magic. However, a bullet merely enchanted to be very strong wouldn't work. It has to be one that can specifically shoot anything.
By the way, The Dark Knight Returns, in which he got hit and temporarily weakened by a kryptonite arrow, doesn't count. That Superman was way weaker than the one we like.If Superman were shot with a bullet containing Kryptonite, what would happen?
Anytime Superman is near Kyrptonite it starts to make him weaker and drains his powers. The problem is Superman is faster then a speeding bullet and he has super hearing. If you put those together a bullet, regardless of its material, should never even get close to Superman and hit him.
If by some chance he does get hit by taking the bullet for someone else, or not knowing the bullet was made of Kryptonite or it contained Kryptonite then it would mostly likely pierce his skin and either stay inside of him or leave his body. If it stayed inside of him then he would need to be taken out into our Sun after the bullet was removed so he could heal and gain his powers back. If the bullet stayed there then he would die pretty quickly. If Superman were shot with a bullet containing Kryptonite, what would happen?I'd say it mainly depends upon the rate of fire of said automatic weapon. If it was a high caliber low ROF weapon like a browing .50cal BMG I'd say it wouldn't matter because the time frame between each impact is long enough for Superman to bounce back from the exposure.
But a small caliber high ROF weapon would probably enventually get to him because the next exposure of kryptonite comes much more quickly and eventually work a small hole into him.
Haha fun brainstorming question. If Superman were shot with a bullet containing Kryptonite, what would happen?
Have you ever seen the TV series Smallville? It is about Superman's (Clark Kent's) past (while he was in high school and so forth). In one of the episodes, I'm not sure which, there was a guy that made bullets filled with kryptonite to kill Clark. The bullet actually penetrated his skin and almost killed him.If Superman were shot with a bullet containing Kryptonite, what would happen?easy question yes he would cuz if he sees the bullet and he nos it being fired he could moved out of the way but if its sniped or he dont no where its coming from he could get shot and die thats what happened in the show a kid fired a gun so all he did was move his hand to block it but the bullet actually went through his hand and into his chest where then his dad had to fish the bullet outIf Superman were shot with a bullet containing Kryptonite, what would happen?
In superman returns Lex stabs Clark with a piece of meteor fragment which penetrated his skin, and that was by hand. Maybe a rail gun kryptonite bullet will do the job.
i think the bullet would penetrate his skin and the bullet wound would be the same as if a human got shot.
