When I connect both seem to have the same amount of power (and the same affect haha) maybe it's a lack of technique?Is a superman punch more powerful than an over hand?i like the super man punch. it offers alittle more of a suprise and stun factor. the over hand right is great because you really dont have to be skilled to execute it and it most often does its job. is it more powerful...depends on how you execute it. if its the same superman punch i understand, you'll most likely gain momentum when your leverage in mosty forward and your bodyweight is off of the ground...that where you power is generated from. you're literally throwing your body weight. now add that with the amount of torque in your fist...and you'll have a powerful technique. the over hand is simple and starts from the ground and generates power from the pivot, hip and torque of the elements of the body. i think the superman punch is more powerful...but more of a riskier move. ur off the ground so balance is out of the question.Is a superman punch more powerful than an over hand?

I would say a superman punch is less powerful since your feet are off the ground when you make contact. It still has plenty of power to knock someone out though.
