What is the name of Superman's hometown on Krypton?

I know Superman (Kal-El) was born ON Krypton. I want to know what city he is from. Its not Kandor as that city was shrunk by Braniac. So for example his hometown would be Kandor,Krypton or whatever the city name is. First right answer gets the points!

in the greater mythology the Home City of the House of El is never really brought up... Live action versions never take the time and animated versions are all about the simplicity but I seem to recall a comic book version which does cite the name Kryptonopolis or some such... but again Most versions simplify it by simply stating he's from Krypton and never break down the Political or topographical boundaries of the world ... ie how many Continents it has, what is it's actual Equatorial circumference, are the Continents divided into nations, states, city-states, are their regions like Europe with dozens of independent nations, yet a Nato/UN super-structure... or do most continents break down like North America with 3 major Nations and then those subdivided into states/provinces -- little if any of this is established as canon -- at best we get Cities ala Kandor or Argo that were the cite of major events -- and I think even Argo has fluctuated in canon between major city and sister planet/colony if I recall



FYI Wiki does in fact cite Kryptonopolis as the Birthplace of Superman... and indicates that while not spoken in the film, the setting of the opening sequence of Superman the Movie in 78 was ID'd as such In the scripts
