BattleField 2, Gamespy, and Punkbuster problems. PLEASE HELP!?

I didn't play battlefield 2 for about a month and when i came back i found so many problems i've never seen before. Battlefield gives me a "server refused connection". Gamespy won't let me go to log in, register, OR EVEN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! All i can do is go to the home page and to contact us which didn't help much because they never answered. Nothing else of Gamespy works. I've tried everything, including re-installing the game. I've even resorted to pinging, and everything pings back except Punkbuster. Apparently no one else has had this because there are no forums on it. its been 3 months since i could get online. Please Help.BattleField 2, Gamespy, and Punkbuster problems. PLEASE HELP!?
There was a patch released in September '09, so install that if you haven't already, you will need to be patched with 1.41 before you install 1.50.

Gamespy is a waste of time, I have played 5 Battlefield games and have never installed gamespy. Use the ingame server browser or if you have to qtracker or xfire.

There are many BF2 forums but the best are probably EA official forums, or totalgamingnetwork.

Punkbuster can be manually update with http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?pag鈥?/a>

The only other reason I can think of is firewall or router blocking the game. A list of ports can be found in the readme file which should be in the start menu under ea games bf2 or it can be found in the support folder in program files\ea games\battlefield 2
