Can anyone recommend good routers for hardcore gaming?

i have comcast, and i am currently in the exact same situation as this guy http://forums.comcast.com/t5/Home-Networking-and-Router-Help/Wireless-signal-too-slow/td-p/990767

basically, comcast is just plain careless....

i have the same equipment as the guy having problems in the link, and i need a very good N-router with dual band and gigabit.

i just upgraded to 50mbps and im paying out the lalala for it, but we aren't getting 50 at all.

i absolutely need my internet to be the best it can be, because Battlefield 3 is coming out soon.

any recommendations, info, help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you.Can anyone recommend good routers for hardcore gaming?
I don't know where you live but I'm having a problem with comcast.

I bought the expensive +50mbps package. When I first had it my speeds were at 66mbps. Now they're down to 31mbps.

I'm pissed but I keep forgetting to call up those losers.

I'm using a single-band D-Link Gigabit router. I tried the test directly from my high-end Core i7-2600K directly to the modem I had reset and I'm still getting around 30mbps.

At my other place there's a speed drop too. I'm using a Netgear WNDR3700 there.

Both Modems are the Motorola Docsis 3.0 modems.

The Netgrear was a pain it the *** to set up. The D-Link is much easier.

I'm in the Seattle area
