Why does EA Origin charge me tax?
My friend in FL is not charged the tax, I am in WA. As far as I know EA is in CA. Unless there is a branch in WA then I should not be charged. Customer service would not tell me why and pushed me to the forums to ask, as told by CS, after being offered a 15% coupon. Copied text of "Online orders are not billed until Product ships or Pre Load is initiated." is not true, as i have already been charged for battlefield 3 which is not released or able to be preloaded yet.
