Why are there so many Batman/Superman DTV animated movies?

There are a LOT of Batman and Superman animated movies, there's one with Darkseid. Are they in the same universe or do all them ovies take places in alternate universes. Why are there so many of them. It's hard to keep up with them.Why are there so many Batman/Superman DTV animated movies?Because they are good, and they are expanding their the World's Finest to a larger audience. They do take place in the same universe. That's why the Justice League exists. They aren't that hard to keep up with. I actually get every new one that comes out. There popular and as long as they generate money for DC and Warner Bros. they will keep being made, i have only seen Apocalypse but it was good.
