Who do you think would make a good villain in Christopher Nolan's planned Superman movie?

Lex Luthor has just been done to death. Brainiac would be good, but has too much backstory. Darkseid would be awesome, but again... too much comics history there for noobs.Who do you think would make a good villain in Christopher Nolan's planned Superman movie?They have a lot of good options here are my top three



1. Lex Luthor/Bizzaro or Metallo - True Lex has been in too many of the films but the fact is he hasn't been done right. Post-crisis Lex is a completely different character than he was in the other films. Still he needs muscle and he could be used as a manipulative figure to Bizzaro or Metallo as they could give Superman a great fight, which is what has been needed since 1980.



2. Brainiac - He ticks all the boxes a great Superman villain needs to, is a challenge mentally and physically. His back story can be controlled without making it feel rushed, remember Nolan is involved



3. Darkseid - If you never saw the Superman animated series watch it, they should do it like that.



But I heard Zod is in the script, which isn't bad but no one is going to live up to Terrance Stamp
