A question about my graphics card and gaming.?

So I got a NVIDIA GT230 with my PC that I just bought last year...which I consider sad. I wonder why they didn't give me a better one...anyways; Battlefield 3 is coming out and I asked on the forums, on which they said that I'd have to play on low settings if I was going to be playing with my GT230...so my question is: will my graphics card really matter that much? I have a quad core with good stats otherwise, just a crappy graphics card. Is there by any chance anything I can do to improve that card or any alternative THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE REMOVING ANYTHING OR ADDING ANYTHING to my PC-also spending money on it(my budget for gaming is packed).A question about my graphics card and gaming.?
Yes, the 230 GT will be a sizable bottleneck, no matter how good your CPU is

Unless you upgrade your card (and possibly power supply too) it will not play BF3 very well at allA question about my graphics card and gaming.?
I know its annoying, but even though you've got a good cpu and ram, the graphics card isn't that good of a card. If you want to game on high settings, you're going to have to get a better card. You can find 512MB-1GB cards now for around $35 I'd say.

The good cpu helps a bit, but the graphics just aren't good enough on the high settingsA question about my graphics card and gaming.?
At low settings BF3 will be very playable. Anything past that is probably a no.
