Whats wrong with video games now?

1. People get too hyped over a game and they don't meet their high expectations and they get all pissy about it. EXAMPLE- people buy the new Call Of Duty and it's like the other ones.

2.People jump on the bandwagon when they whine about games. EXAMPLE-go to the halo forums it's mostly people complaining about armor lock.

3. They cost too damn much EXAMPLE you can get the Xbox for $99 now and if a new games 60 that's more than half the price of the damn thing.

4.Games are f*cking retarted half the time EXAMPLE duke nukem: forever you pull crap out of this toilet.....WTF

1. A large amount of the gaming commuinty is around the game of 10-13. They don't understand. I could probably write a lot more about this, but i woke up about a hour ago and i really cannot be f*cked to write about 3 paragraphs about how fanboyism controls a large portion of the gaming universe and how many people are sheep, etc.
2. As with other media, there are several different fanboy groups.
3. The tech in consoles costs a lot of money compared to the past. Games are more expensive because of the large amount of tech, money and work-time going into them as before. Also, $99 for a Xbox isn't expensive.
4. Duke Nukem: Forever is the only "hyped" game recently to score below 5/10. There are many good games out there - stop looking on the surface.

It's the corporations all they care about is profit anymore look at the guitar hero series all right up to the 3rd but after that just puke covered diarhea passed off as a game.
